Dr Firoz Alam is a professor at the School of Engineering at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. Prof Alam is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia, Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), and APEC Engineer. Prof Alam has over 20 years of teaching and research experience. He is a leading expert in aircraft, road vehicles, trains, building and sports aerodynamics, conventional and renewable energy, energy policy, energy security, engineering education curriculum design, quality assurance and accreditation. He has accomplished several high-profile research and commercial projects funded by government and private organizations since 2001. He is the co-founder and President of the Australian Society of Energy & Power (ASEP). He has over 250 publications (including books, book chapters, journal articles and peer-reviewed conference papers).

Dr Harun Chowdhury has over 20 years of high-quality university-level teaching experience, including 12 years of industry experience as an experimental aerodynamicist and a mechanical system design engineer. Dr Chowdhury is a leading expert in aerodynamics (aircraft, road vehicles, wind turbine, train, building and sports), conventional & renewable energy, energy policy, energy security, engineering education & curriculum design, quality assurance and accreditation. He is the co-founder and Vice-President of the Australian Society of Energy & Power (ASEP) and an experienced event organiser with a track record of organising several international conferences. He has supervised many research/project students in several Australian universities. Dr. Nakorn Tippayawong is a Professor in the Faculty of Engineering at Chiang Mai University, Thailand. He has over 20 years of teaching and research experience, related to mechanical and energy engineering. He is a leading expert in the field of energy efficiency improvement, biomass energy utilization, and particulate emission control. Prof Tippayawong has been actively involved with a number of energy engineering projects in the agricultural industry in Thailand, supported by governmental and private organizations. He has co-authored more than 250 publications (including books, journal articles and peer-reviewed conference papers).

Mr Khondkar Saleque is an international expert in energy, energy security and energy conservation. He has over 40 years of experience in major oil and gas industries/companies for planning, designing, construction supervision and operation of natural gas utilities (upstream, midstream and downstream) in Australia, Bangladesh, Thailand, Afghanistan. He led a series of Energy Infrastructure Development Projects, Gas Metering & Control, Energy Regulation & Control, Dispute Resolution and Arbitration around the globe. Mr Saleque has delivered professional training in gas production, transmission, marketing, energy regulation and pricing, project management, Occupation, health and safety.

Mr Mohamed Zaid has over 2 years of experience as a CFD mechanical engineer, having expertise in all aspects of fluid mechanics and heat transfer applied to projects throughout Australia. He has worked extensively on buildings and structures in Australasia and the US. Mohamed completed his engineering degree at the RMIT University in 2015, followed by a research degree from RMIT University with a focus on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Mr. Harsha Vardhan is a Master's degree Graduate in the field of automotive engineering with extensive experience in the design and analysis of various systems using prevailing software. Worked as a CAE engineer in the RMIT FSAE aerodynamic team by providing the necessary engineering backup in the development of the Vehicle. Also, worked as an R&D engineer in India with TI Diamond chains, implementing benchmark techniques and conducting root cause for design, development and testing of the new auto Ancillary parts.

Mr Rezaul Islam
B.Eng in Mechanical Mr Rezaul Islam currently works as an Energy Management consultant at Carbonetix and is responsible for developing sustainable energy management techniques for various Victorian city councils. He has a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering (Honours) and an Associate degree in Aerospace Engineering from RMIT University with extensive experience in advanced manufacturing and 3D designing. He has worked as a design and manufacturing engineer for RMIT Racing team and has developed multiple complex designs in their vehicle development. Mr Islam is a keen researcher and has multiple publications under his belt with a profound understanding of advanced manufacturing and aerodynamic stability.
